Amid all the hubbub about piracy, one group has found an innovative way to give away their music. The new scheme is called droplifting, a low-tech method of distributing music. The underground music collective dubs itself the Droplift Project, where somebody smuggles CDs into a retail outlet and inserts them on shelves adjacent CDs by popular artists with a similar style.
